The boots look great and seem to work great for my son. The only problem is they are almost impossible to get on! My son has skinny feet and we work at it for 2 minutes pushing them in. Since they aren’t “tie” shoes you can’t open them up bigger to get their feet in.

They are comfortable and for the most part, wear very well.<br/><br/>But I get home one day with extremely sore feet and look at the shoe, and the sole slit on me across where the ball of the foot lands. Not a small slit in one layer, the ENTIRE sole to the point I could see the inside of the shoe from the bottom. It wasn't a cut like you would get from standing on something sharp, it was was a tear that went through the sole. When I checked my other shoe, it had developed two cracks in the sole and was probably a matter of days before the same thing happened on that one.<br/><br/>I am warranting them, but I have been told this particular sole is known to do this. I walk 2 to 4 miles a day and used these as my primary shoe for just about 13 months. They are comfortable and for the most part, wear very well.

But I get home one day with extremely sore feet and look at the shoe, and the sole slit on me across where the ball of the foot lands. Not a small slit in one layer, the ENTIRE sole to the point I could see the inside of the shoe from the bottom. It wasn’t a cut like you would get from standing on something sharp, it was was a tear that went through the sole. When I checked my other shoe, it had developed two cracks in the sole and was probably a matter of days before the same thing happened on that one.

I am warranting them, but I have been told this particular sole is known to do this. So I am going to find a different shoe and if the warranty works out, these will become backups.
